We are confident when we write that Big Ben peaked his rookie year. He is not that good of a QB. We do like him staring in FatHead commercials but that is the extent of our fondness for him. Don’t let his supporting case fool you, the Steelers are on the down slide and Big Ben’s numbers will slide the same direction. 3000 yards and 16 TDs is all we expect from Big Ben in 2007.
The Break Out Explained
We don’t see Big Ben being a viable starting Fantasy QB in 2007. He is a system QB and the system is on the downward slide. He will be an intriguing pick to some given the WR core however we don’t like him one bit. He was outplayed in a few games last year by Charle Batch for god sake. That is all we need to know about Big Ben in 2007.
The Risk Factor:
 The Steelers should have a decent running game in 2007 however we don’t expect the passing game to be much improved. We are not a big fan of Holmes and Ward is getting older. Pittsburgh has a decent TE however they forgot about him last year. We don’t see Big Ben getting injured, we just don’t see him maturing much since his rookie year.
The Strategy:
 Someone in your league will waste a pick on Big Ben as a second QB on their roster. We advise that NOT be you. We would rather take a chance on a young QB like Young or Schaub than deal with the headaches of Big Ben.

Well I even though Im sure I will get all kinds of crap junk mail I registered for this shit website just to let you know, that is the single stupidest peice of football analysis I have ever read. Whoever wrote this should be deported and never allowed to use the internet or a computer again. Peaked his rookie year? System quarterback? You mean he was a system quarterback his rookie year when he was the best rookie of all time. Then his next season he torched the Bengals, Colts, and Broncos en route to being the youngest quarterback ever to win the superbowl. I was at that Colts game. You know what system they ran? The let Ben beat them in the air early because he is better system. Then there was last year. How bout I put you on a bike, come slam my car into you going about 45, then after barely surviving you lose about 30lbs of your playing weight and the we send you out to quarterback a few NFL games. I have Ben on my Fantasy team. 32 points week one… good call assholes.
