MoSneaky - Jerious Norwood
Jerious Norwood (RB) - Atlanta Falcons

You may not have seen a whole lot of Jerious Norwood, who, incidentally, is not related to ex-Bills kicker Scott Norwood in any way. However, that could all change this season (not the related to Scott Norwood part).
The Breakout Explained:
Here’s what we know. They love to run the ball in Atlanta. And we aren’t just talking about Mike Vick. They love handing it off to their RBs, because that means Mike Vick isn’t going to try to throw the ball. And that’s a good thing. Another thing we know, is that Warrick Dunn turns 32 this season, a couple years past the age NFL runningbacks really start to slow down. Norwood got about 1/4 the RB carries last year, and you can expect that to rise, since he’s just as explosive as Dunn and bigger. Bigger being very key, since Dunn won’t be getting the goalline carries.
The Risk Factor:
Norwood still has a lot to prove. At this point, it’s too early to say if he can be an every down back in the NFL. But, that’s what makes him a sleeper. Norwood may not win the goalline job, which would certainly detract from his value. The Falcons picked up Jason Snelling, a big back from Virginia in the draft (7th round). He is certainly a threat to win the short yardage work.
The Strategy:
Norwood shouldn’t go off the board until very late into the draft. After you’ve filled out your starting roster, and drafted some reliable backups, Norwood should still be sitting out there like a ripe apple. Why not take the gamble? If Dunn falters, he and Norwood could see a role reversal. If Dunn gets injured, Norwood will become a valuable commodity. At worst case, you’ll still get some limited production out of him, as he will split time with a healthy Dunn.

Now that Vick is virtually done for the year, has Norwood’s value plummeted? Is he still MoSneaky?

Even more so. Vick wasn’t a very good QB overall. A huge talent, but not very good at QB. With him gone, their offense will become a lot more conventional. This is good for someone like Norwood who will be given a more consistent amount of runs each game, and whose QB will not be stealing alot of rushes/rushing-tds.
