On a team full of studs, how easy is it to find a sleeper? Pretty much impossible, is the answer. We don’t expect anything unusual from the Colts this year. Same faces, same ungodly stats. However, Addai is the guy with the most to gain, now that he’s the lone back in the equation.

The Breakout Explained

This doesn’t need alot of explaining. If there is a single RB carrying the load in Indianapolis, they are a fantasy stud. Addai looked very good at times last year, and should be more than capable of putting up huge numbers in this offense. Despite not starting, Addai threw up 1400 combined yards last year, and 8 TDs. If you want to think about a potential upside, add Dominic Rhodes 900 combined yards and 6 more TDs.

The Risk Factor:

There really isn’t alot of flop potential here. Addai has proven he can be very effective in the Colts offense. He’s got a good all around game, and should only get better. The only real risk is injury, which can be said for every player. The Colts may still sign a veteran RB as the preseason approaches, but it would only be for insurance purposes.

The Strategy:

Addai isn’t exactly a sleeper. Everyone knows he’s going to be good. What we are telling you, here, is that he should be the 4th overall pick in pretty much any format. You could even make a legitimate argument for taking him 3rd overall. He’s going to be that good.
